My first ever game jam submission for the 2020 64x64 #LOWREZJAM.

This one's weird, at first I wanted it to be some sort of worm, but someone (RandomGuy on discord) suggested that I should make it a sausage which also fits in with the theme, so I did.

Essentially you're a merguez sausage, crawling around, forcefully taking control of any human or animal you come across by penetrating them and puppeteering them, acting as a parasite.

Use them as a means to sneak by other unsuspecting NPCs, or shoot up the entire place if you'd like.

I would've added alot more but due to me being a lazy ass and the time constraint (which to be fair isn't even that short) I had to settle for 3 levels, 4 npcs, and 3 power ups. I'd love to come back to this in the future though.

Music once again made by me, crushed with lo fi filters to suit the graphics.

The graphics were a bit tricky to work with since i couldn't convey much having being limited to 4x4-16x16 sprites in order to fit the screen, but it was still fun

But yeah, that's about it for my first jam, I was a bit nervous, and despite losing some motivation along the way I'd say i'm pretty proud with what I managed to release

also note that i tried my best to iron out bugs but i can't get all of them myself without proper playtesting, so yknow

Now for some tips :

1- M to mute music (Very buggy)

2- In the pause menu, toggle guide to see pointers to where the exit checkpoint is (hand placed by me, that's why they look so shoddy)

3- If you've given up and just wanna see the ending, hold Shift and press L

4- Press Tab to toggle the points counter

Thanks for your support
